The 4th CRUX Project Meeting
The Crux 4th Project Meeting took place on 20-22 September 2017 hosted by the Università Politecnica delle Marche. The meeting sessions were jointly chaired by Dr Luca Cioccolanti, Gabriele Comodi and Prof. Khamid Mahkamov.
Teams from Colombia, Brazil, Cuba and EU Universities evaluated the progress made in the Project activities during the last months. The meeting was held by academics of the Università Politecnica delle Marche, EU and Latin America Universities both with students and professionals of the sector.

3rd Project Workshop on Renewable Energy Technologies (22 September 2017)
The Project Workshop on The Perspectives of the Renewable Energies in the Automotive Sector was organized by the team at the Università Politecnica delle Marche on 22 September from 9.00 am to 13.00 This event was advertised by the team in the Local Media (Social Media, Regional Newspaper and TV), thus reaching a large target group. Presentations were given by representatives of EU and Colombian Universities as well as an Italian SME and a Company active on R&D in the area of renewable energy technologies in the automotive and transport sector.

Seminar
A 4-hour specialized seminar was organized as apart of the CRUX Project on 22 September in the afternoon.
The seminar on The Potential of Biomass in the Present Energy Context was organised jointly with the Association of Engineering of Ancona and the Italian Energy Technician (Marche Region Committee) and chaired by Dr Gabriele Comodi of Università Politecnica delle Marche. It was attended by more than 60 professional engineers.
The Seminar on Thermal Power Generation Technologies using Renewable Energy Sources was provided by Professor Electo Silva Lora from Federal University of Itajuba. This seminar was attended by 60 students.
